Founded by husband-and-wife duo, Bob and Meliza, 148 Guesthouse and Resort began as a passion project in 2019 when they relocated from Bali to Alaminos. What was once a forgotten property is now a unique and thriving destination that blends global inspiration with Filipino warmth. By 2025, we proudly opened seven private and stylish rooms, each crafted to reflect a harmony of simplicity, comfort, and beauty.

At our heart is a commitment to sustainability. Bob, a renewable energy professional, and Meliza, founder of BaliBerry Swimwear—a brand creating swimwear from recycled ocean plastics—share a vision of becoming the first eco-conscious resort in Alaminos City, where luxury is thoughtfully aligned with nature.

As a true family-run resort, our home remains part of the guesthouse grounds, making every stay feel personal and genuine. The outdoor spaces are shared with our guests, creating a warm sense of community. You may even be greeted by our two gentle, fully vaccinated golden retrievers, who love making new friends and adding to the charm of our little paradise.
